Exomes

What are Exosomes?

An exosome is a by-product of a cell. When two cells fuse, they form bud-like structures. Scientists refer to them as nano extracellular vesicles or microscopic bubbles. The bud-like components don't fizzle away when breaking apart from the fused cells and greatly enhance skin rejuvenation. The exciting aspect of Exosomes is that they are not cells, so they cannot duplicate. Nevertheless, they are crucial for tissue regeneration, healing, and repair. How is this possible, you may wonder?

Biomolecules contained in exosomes include proteins, growth factors, lipids, and nucleic acids, including messenger-RNA (mRNA) and micro-RNA (miRNA). Cells communicate with stem cells through them. Think of Exosomes as little envelopes that carry regeneration from cell to cell.

How does Exosome work?

Exosomes do not work alone; the skin must be micro-needled or treated by laser to create microscopic channels. Through these channels, exosomes can reach deeper skin layers for enhanced rejuvenation.

With exosome therapy, inactive skin cells are awakened, and old exosomes are revitalized, so they can return to work to repair, strengthen, and rejuvenate. Exosome therapy improves wound healing, increases collagen and elastin production, and decreases pigmentation. This plumping, firming, brightening, and smoothing effect occurs on the skin.

What are the benefits of Exosomes?

Treatment with exosomes can produce the following results:

  • Reduced acne scarring
  • Aided tissue regeneration and repair
  • Rejuvenated damaged hair follicles
  • Increased collagen production
  • Boosted healing for damaged skin
  • Smoother skin
  • Reduced wrinkles

What is the recovery process?

By speeding up recovery and boosting the efficacy of cosmetic procedures, exosome therapy can also reduce the number of treatments required.

Each session lasts one to two hours, depending on the treatment plan. Several studies have shown that exosomes provide a way to "seal" your skin post-laser treatment, reducing the chances of allergic reactions and inflammation that can occur after laser treatments. In addition, exosomes take away the extra work of what skincare products are used for after a procedure. Do not touch your skin with anything for 24 hours, and skip your skincare routine for one night. You can resume regular activities immediately after the session since no downtime is required.

Who is a candidate for exosomes?

Exosome Facial Rejuvenation will significantly benefit anyone suffering from the following types of skin problems:

  • Acne
  • Scarring
  • Treatment-resistant wrinkles
  • Facial sagging
  • Sun-damaged
  • Age spots
  • Pores with an uneven texture or an enlarged appearance

Will you be able to see results after Exosomes?

Results from facial exosomes can be seen in as little as one to two weeks, while more dramatic results can take up to two months to be fully visible.
